{"id":16427,"date":"2023-11-29T10:00:19","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T10:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/?p=16427"},"modified":"2024-11-11T16:10:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T16:10:12","slug":"vredestein-quatrac-auto-express-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/vredestein-quatrac-auto-express-tests\/","title":{"rendered":"Vredestein Quatrac: the Auto Express tests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vredestein Quatrac beats leading brands in <em>Auto Express<\/em> test of all-season tyres; triumphs for value.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>The Quatrac secured second place, trailing the overall winner by just 0.1% in the final scores, and was the only tyre \u2018Recommended\u2019 by the test panel<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Placed first for wet braking and snow braking, second for dry handling<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Leads the premium all-season rankings for affordability \u2013, it undercuts the price of the first-placed tyre in the test by approximately <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>20%<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Vredestein Quatrac, a premium all-season tyre developed for mid-sized family cars and SUVs, has secured second place in a comprehensive new group test of<br \/>\nall-season tyres conducted by <em>Auto Express<\/em>, the biggest selling motoring magazine in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The Quatrac trailed the overall winner by just 0.1% in the final rankings, despite being\u00a0 approximately 20% cheaper. The tyre also came top for wet braking and snow braking, and was placed second for dry handling, outperforming several more expensive products from other leading tyre brands. The test confirmed the Quatrac\u2019s status as the most affordable premium-performance all-season tyre on the market, delivering high-performance, durability and comfort at an accessible price.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Auto Express<\/em> team evaluated eight different all-season products from leading European tyre manufacturers \u2013 all in the popular 225\/45 R17 size. Each tyre was fitted to a Volkswagen Golf GTI before being put through a series of challenging dynamic tests in wet, dry and snowy conditions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Vredestein_Quatrac.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21303\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Vredestein_Quatrac.jpg\" alt=\"Vredestein Quatrac\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aside from the winner, the Vredestein tyre was the only tyre \u2018Recommended\u2019 by the independent <em>Auto Express<\/em> team, which praised its year-round versatility and for being \u201camong the best everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the publication\u2019s testing at the TRIWO facility in Pferdsfeld Germany, the tyre produced similar results to the overall test winner in the handling, wet circle and aquaplaning categories, impressing with its \u201cliveliness\u201d and \u201csafe, front-limited balance that kept the rear stable but without needing extra lock.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the dry, the Quatrac delivered good grip and balance, especially in longer turns.
