{"id":16587,"date":"2024-04-29T10:01:11","date_gmt":"2024-04-29T09:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/apollo-tyres-nuove-misure-per-lo-pneumatico-endurace-ra2\/"},"modified":"2024-04-29T13:14:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-29T12:14:01","slug":"apollo-tyres-endurace-ra2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/apollo-tyres-endurace-ra2\/","title":{"rendered":"Apollo Tyres adds new size options to its EnduRace RA 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apollo Tyres adds new size options to its EnduRace RA 2 \u2018regional transport\u2019 tyre range.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Apollo Tyres is expanding its range of next-generation EnduRace RA 2 \u2018regional transport\u2019 truck tyres for 22.5-inch rims, with the introduction of new 295\/80 and 315\/80 size options.<\/p>\n<p>Developed and manufactured in Europe, the popular EnduRace RA 2 features a slim, compact tread design with a wide contact area to deliver enhanced all-season grip, low rolling resistance and high levels of durability, making it an attractive option for medium- and long-distance hauliers across Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/04\/TBR-EU-R22.5-EnduRace-RA2-sidewall.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21625\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/04\/TBR-EU-R22.5-EnduRace-RA2-sidewall.jpg\" alt=\"Apollo Tyres EnduRace RA 2\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both of the new sizes utilise Apollo Tyres\u2019 \u2018Invisible Groove technology\u2019 to maintain high levels of grip and traction over their entire lifespan. They are also certified for year-round use via the \u2018Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake\u2019 mark embossed on the sidewall.<\/p>\n<p>The advanced tread compound affords high levels of abrasion resistance, and durability is further improved through the use of low-hysteresis materials on the high-stress portions of the tyre\u2019s structure, countering deformation under load.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the company\u2019s first-generation EnduRace RA regional transport tyre, the EnduRace RA 2 provides a 10% reduction in rolling resistance and 1dB lower average road noise, as well as a 10% improvement in traction. The new tyre emits just 72dB of road noise and is B rated for wet grip.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/04\/TBR-EU-R22.5-EnduRace-RA2-copia.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/04\/TBR-EU-R22.5-EnduRace-RA2-copia.jpg\" alt=\"Apollo Tyres EnduRace RA 2\" width=\"1462\" height=\"1014\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apollo Tyres launched the second generation of the EnduRace RA line in September 2023, following the success of the original in 2021. The use of in-house, state-of-the-art virtual prototyping has optimised the development cycle of its expanding portfolio of truck and bus, radial (TBR) products.<\/p>\n<p>Yves Pouliquen, Group Head of Sales and Marketing at Apollo Tyres Europe, said: \u201cThe EnduRace has been an incredibly successful product line for us since it launched three years ago. Since then, we have focused our efforts on improving every aspect of the tyre so it caters to the evolving needs of our customers.
