Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 E is compatible with Ford\u2019s 1.0L EcoBoost, 1.5L EcoBoost I3, and 2.5L Duratec-Hybrid powerplants, which can be found in models such as the Fiesta, Focus and Kuga<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Castrol\u2019s latest MAGNATEC lubricant is compatible with Ford\u2019s new WSS-M2C954-A1 petrol engine specification and is also backwards-compatible to applications that require SAE 5W-20 viscosity oils that meet Ford\u2019s WSS-M2C948-B specification.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/P021BCE-00_insta-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21985\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/P021BCE-00_insta-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 E\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When engines aren\u2019t running, oil can drain away to leave critical parts exposed, with 75% of wear typically taking place during the warm-up phase<sup>2<\/sup>, whereas Castrol MAGNATEC\u2019s Intelligent Molecules do not. Instead, they cling to critical engine parts to make them more resistant to wear<sup>3<\/sup>. It provides continuous levels of protection in high and low\u00a0temperatures and when faced with different driving conditions and styles. The new product also provides additional performance benefits, including improved fuel economy<sup>4<\/sup>, protection against timing chain wear<sup>5<\/sup>, and defence against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI)<sup>6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past year, Castrol and Ford have continued to galvanise their long-standing relationship, which originally began in 1914, by extending their European Cooperation Agreement until December 2027. The partnership ensures that Castrol will remain the recommended lubricant supplier across Ford\u2019s European dealer network, while the two companies will also continue the co-development of advanced fluids for new powertrains that deliver optimal performance and reliability. In addition, Castrol works closely with the Ford M-Sport WRC team to continually test its engine oils in the toughest of conditions. Away from top tier motorsport, Castrol provides Ford with first fill lubricants and co-branded products made exclusively for Ford\u2019s official aftersales network.<\/p>\n<p>Marisa Sobrino, Brand and Product Specialist at Castrol Europe, said: \u201cOur long association with Ford is further strengthened with the launch of Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 E.
