Apollo Tyres Ltd has extended its role as the ‘Official Tyre Partner’ of the iconic 1000 Miglia classic car rally in Italy, continuing a successful partnership that began in 2017. The renewed agreement will see the company’s premium Vredestein brand promoted at the rally through to its centenary celebration in 2027.

Alongside the announcement, Apollo Tyres has also confirmed that former Formula 1 star and three-time Grand Prix winner Giancarlo Fisichella will continue as Vredestein brand ambassador until at least August 2026. Since joining in 2024, Fisichella has contributed to the testing and development of high-performance Vredestein tyres, including the award-winning Ultrac Pro. He has also been a prominent presence at key events and has featured across the brand’s online and offline communications.

Fisichella will once again compete in this year’s 1000 Miglia, driving a Fiat 1100/103 TV Berlina equipped with Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.

In its 41st edition in 2025, the 1000 Miglia will see more than 300 vintage vehicles travelling the 1,000-mile route from Brescia to Rome and back between 17 and 21 June. Celebrated as La corsa più bella del mondo (the most beautiful race in the world), the rally combines competitive endurance driving with cultural and architectural highlights, attracting entrants and enthusiasts from around the globe. To participate, each car must have been manufactured before 31 December 1957 and be of a make that competed in the original 1000 Miglia races between 1927 and 1957.

In addition to the main 1000 Miglia event, the new contract will see Vredestein branding prominently featured at both the Coppa delle Alpi and the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy.
