PETRONAS Lubricants Italy obtains Gender Equality Certification and successfully continues its journey towards inclusion and social responsibility.<\/p>\n
Santena (Turin), 15 July 2025<\/strong> \u2013 PETRONAS Lubricants Italy has obtained the Gender Equality Certification from Bureau Veritas, a world leader in inspection, compliance verification and certification services. The company continues its \u201cOur Road to Parity\u201d journey with a clear mission: to promote inclusivity, gender equality and diversity in the workplace.<\/p>\n Key strengths that contributed to achieving the certification, as well as attracting talent, include the benefits offered to employees, with particular focus on supporting parenthood, inclusivity and gender equality.<\/p>\n From extra remote working days for caregivers and new parents, with six additional months on top of parental leave, to the supplementary health insurance extended to children, and psychological support provided through dedicated agreements: these concrete initiatives truly place people\u2019s well-being at the centre.<\/p>\n Women have opportunities across all areas of the company, but the Turin office has achieved the strongest results in enhancing women\u2019s contribution and representation in managerial roles.<\/p>\n PETRONAS Lubricants Italy employs 535 people across its two sites in Turin and one in Naples and stands out for its female employment rate: in the automotive market, where the average female representation is 19% (Fim CISL data), women make up an average of 25% of PETRONAS Lubricants Italy\u2019s workforce, with peaks of 33.3% at the Santena site.<\/p>\n Currently, employees in Italy have an average age of 45, an average length of service of 15 years and a voluntary turnover rate below 1%. These successful figures are a sign of employee loyalty and local roots, supported by strong relationships with the communities where the company operates \u2013 Turin and Naples in particular \u2013 as shown by training projects (CNOS Fap) and partnerships with leading universities in Piedmont (Politecnico di Torino, ESCP Business School, SAA School of Management, University of Turin) as well as other Italian universities (Politecnico di Milano, University of Naples Federico II).<\/p>\n
