{"id":17265,"date":"2025-07-15T19:15:39","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T18:15:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/?p=17265"},"modified":"2025-07-24T11:11:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T10:11:44","slug":"petronas-lubricants-italy-gender-equality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/petronas-lubricants-italy-gender-equality\/","title":{"rendered":"PETRONAS Lubricants Italy obtains Gender Equality Certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PETRONAS Lubricants Italy obtains Gender Equality Certification and successfully continues its journey towards inclusion and social responsibility.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bureau Veritas Italia, a leading certification body, has confirmed that PETRONAS Lubricants Italy has met the requirements of UNI\/PdR 125:2022<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A new milestone in the company\u2019s \u201cOur Road to Parity\u201d journey on gender equality and inclusion: in addition to the certification, in June PETRONAS also signed the Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality at Work at the Unione Industriali headquarters together with over 80 companies from the Piedmont area<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In the automotive market, where the average female representation is 19%, women employed by PETRONAS Lubricants Italy are on average 25%, with peaks of one third (33.3%) at the Santena site<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The average length of service at PETRONAS Lubricants Italy is 15 years, and the voluntary turnover rate is below 1%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Santena (Turin), 15 July 2025<\/strong> \u2013 PETRONAS Lubricants Italy has obtained the Gender Equality Certification from Bureau Veritas, a world leader in inspection, compliance verification and certification services. The company continues its \u201cOur Road to Parity\u201d journey with a clear mission: to promote inclusivity, gender equality and diversity in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Key strengths that contributed to achieving the certification, as well as attracting talent, include the benefits offered to employees, with particular focus on supporting parenthood, inclusivity and gender equality.<\/p>\n<p>From extra remote working days for caregivers and new parents, with six additional months on top of parental leave, to the supplementary health insurance extended to children, and psychological support provided through dedicated agreements: these concrete initiatives truly place people\u2019s well-being at the centre.<\/p>\n<p>Women have opportunities across all areas of the company, but the Turin office has achieved the strongest results in enhancing women\u2019s contribution and representation in managerial roles.<\/p>\n<p>PETRONAS Lubricants Italy employs 535 people across its two sites in Turin and one in Naples and stands out for its female employment rate: in the automotive market, where the average female representation is 19% (Fim CISL data), women make up an average of 25% of PETRONAS Lubricants Italy\u2019s workforce, with peaks of 33.3% at the Santena site.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, employees in Italy have an average age of 45, an average length of service of 15 years and a voluntary turnover rate below 1%. It is valid for three years and includes two annual surveillance audits to monitor the management system and the progress to be achieved. Among the special guests were racing driver <strong>Sara Fruncillo<\/strong>, who spoke with <strong>Linda Villano<\/strong> from AIDA (Italian Association of Women in Automotive), <strong>Giorgia Garola<\/strong>, President of AMMA (Unione Industriali Torino), <strong>Cinzia Arcuri<\/strong> from the Marisa Bellisario Foundation, and <strong>Elisabetta Cozzi<\/strong>, Director of the museum bearing her name in Lombardy and curator of the exhibition <em>\u201cWomen and Engines?
