{"id":17273,"date":"2025-07-24T12:09:27","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T11:09:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/?p=17273"},"modified":"2025-10-02T12:39:56","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T11:39:56","slug":"apollo-tyres-new-surevy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/en\/apollo-tyres-new-surevy\/","title":{"rendered":"Apollo Tyres Survey: retailers and fitters retain leading role in shaping  tyre purchase decisions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apollo Tyres: retailers and fitters retain leading role in shaping tyre purchase decisions, new survey finds.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>41% of car owners in Italy identified retailers and fitters as their most important source of information when choosing replacement tyres<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Those aged 65 or older are the most likely to rely on retailers and fitters for guidance when selecting replacement tyres<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The survey also found that cost and safety are top priorities for consumers searching for replacement tyres online<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tyre retailers and fitters across Italy play a critical role in guiding consumers\u2019 purchase decisions when they come to select replacement tyres, according to new research commissioned by Apollo Tyres Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>When asked <em>\u201cwhat is the most important source of information when choosing a replacement tyre brand?\u201d<\/em> 41% of car owners cite <em>\u201crecommendation from a tyre fitter \/ retailer.\u201d<\/em> That is significantly ahead of the next most influential sources of guidance: <em>\u201conline reviews from independent experts, including specialist car publications and websites\u201d<\/em> (16%), <em>\u201crecommendation from car manufacturer \/ a direct replacement for what was previously fitted to the car\u201d<\/em> (15%) and <em>\u201conline customer reviews\u201d<\/em> (10%).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/07\/Vredestein-Ultrac-Pro.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22867\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/07\/Vredestein-Ultrac-Pro.jpg\" alt=\"Sondaggio Apollo Tyres\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Apollo Tyres survey, conducted among 1,000 car owners in Italy, identified that reliance on input from tyre fitters and retailers is highest among those aged 65 and over (61%), and lowest among those between 18 and 24 (29%). Younger car owners are more likely than those in other age categories to seek guidance from <em>\u201conline reviews from independent experts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The survey also looked at factors that consumers prioritise when searching for replacement tyres online. At the top of the list was <em>\u201cthe safest tyre\u201d<\/em> (mentioned by 27%), followed by <em>\u201cthe most efficient tyre\u201d<\/em> (20%), and <em>\u201csaving money\u201d<\/em> (19%) and <em>\u201cthe best performance-focused tyre\u201d<\/em> (18%). Financial considerations are the biggest priority for those aged 55 to 64 (23%), and less crucial for those aged 65 and over (8%).<\/p>\n<p>Paul Eidhof, Head of Cluster North West at Apollo Tyres Ltd, commented: \u201cWhile many car owners will start their research into replacement tyres online, it\u2019s clear that fitters and retailers continue to play a critical role in guiding final purchase decisions.
