Castrol is keen to help maximise reliability and achieve further enhanced performance through 2025 and will use the findings to help guide the development of future advanced commercial vehicle lubricants.<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands-based Firemen Dakar Team used Castrol\u2019s products in the high-performance engine of its race vehicle, which was built by custom rally truck specialist MM Technology.<\/p>\n<p>During the Dakar Rally 2025, samples of the lubricants used were gathered for comprehensive analysis by the Castrol research and development team based at the company\u2019s headquarters in Pangbourne, UK. The results are now being used to further optimise Castrol\u2019s existing range of advanced commercial vehicle lubricants and influence new formulations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/08\/Castrol-al-Baja-Espana-Aragon-.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22899\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anicecommunication.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/08\/Castrol-al-Baja-Espana-Aragon-.jpg\" alt=\"Castrol al Baja Espa\u00f1a Arag\u00f3n\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Castrol at Baja Espa\u00f1a Arag\u00f3n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Davies, Sponsorship &amp; Event Manager<\/strong> at Castrol Europe, said: \u201cCastrol is incredibly proud to continue partnering with the Fireman Dakar Team. We made key adjustments to boost performance: it\u2019s (was) quicker, more reliable, and was ready for a serious shakedown under real race conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe temperatures in Spain closely resemble(d) what we faced at Dakar 2026, and the course demand(ed) a lot of braking and a lot from the engine and its lubricants, making it ideal for pushing both the truck and our team to the limit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Building on a proven commercial vehicle lubricant range<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Castrol\u2019s extensive range of commercial vehicle lubricants have been specifically engineered for demanding applications with extended drain intervals.
