A highly interactive congress focused on the most current diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in multiple myeloma and on the future perspectives of research

  • The annual International Congress of the European Myeloma Network (EMN) will bring together hematologists and international multiple myeloma experts from April 16 to 18, 2026, in Prague at the Clarion Conference Center
  • Three days of high-level scientific exchange with speakers from across Europe and beyond: a unique opportunity, especially for young researchers, to engage directly with international colleagues and experts
  • Focus on new treatments, therapeutic sequencing, MRD, high-risk patients, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in clinical research in the panel dedicated to future innovations
  • Continued strong commitment to young professionals: 8 travel grants for the best abstracts submitted by researchers under 40
  • Registration is open at com, with reduced fees for young physicians under 35, nurses, and data managers, and early bird rates available until April 6
  • For registered participants, the opportunity to sign up at “Meet the Experts” sessions for free – limited places available

The seventh edition of the EMN International Congress (EMN2026), organized by the European Myeloma Network (EMN), will take place in Prague from April 16 to 18, 2026.

Organized by the EMN, a European network of excellence dedicated to advancing research and developing innovative therapies for multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies, the event reflects EMN’s ongoing commitment to scientific collaboration. EMN is headquartered in the Netherlands, with its Trial Office based in Italy. The congress is organized in collaboration with ER Congressi agency.

Following the success of previous editions, the international scientific community will once again gather in one of Europe’s most fascinating cities for three days of updates and discussion on the most significant advances in multiple myeloma treatment.

EMN2026, the seventh edition of the International Congress on Multiple Myeloma, will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, from April 16 to 18

Scientific Topics at the Core of EMN2026

The scientific program has been designed to address the most critical issues in the management of multiple myeloma, with particular attention to:

  • New treatments and their sequencing in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) patients
  • Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) and its role in assessing therapeutic efficacy
  • Approaches to high-risk patients and new prognostic definitions
  • Cutting-edge biology and future innovations
  • The future of myeloma research, including the role of Artificial Intelligence in clinical trial design and the clinical and economic implications of new therapies

Extensive space will be devoted to debates among experts from across Europe and beyond, with interactive sessions aimed at fostering direct dialogue among clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals.

Young Professionals and International Collaboration

EMN2026 confirms its strong educational and collaborative mission. This year again, 8 travel grants will be awarded to the best abstracts submitted by young researchers under 40, evaluated by an international panel of reviewers.

The congress represents a key opportunity for dialogue among hematologists, researchers, patient associations, and scientific societies, including the European Hematology Association (EHA), with which EMN continues to collaborate actively. The contribution of industry partners supporting the innovative clinical trials promoted by the network is also fundamental.

Organization and Scientific Coordination

The local hosts of EMN2026 are Professors Roman Hajek and Jakub Radocha (Czech Republic), who organized the program together with the scientific coordinators:

  • Niels van de Donk (The Netherlands)
  • Francesca Gay (Italy)
  • Elias Mai (Germany)
  • Paula Rodriguez-Otero (Spain)

The EMN Executive Committee is composed of:

  • Pieter Sonneveld (The Netherlands) – EMN President
  • Mario Boccadoro (Italy) – EMN Vice President

Information and Registration

Registration is open on the official website emn2026.com.
Reduced fees are available for young physicians under 35, nurses, and data managers, as well as an early bird rate valid until April 6.

Participants will also have the opportunity to register for free at the “Meet the Experts” sessions – small, focused meeting dedicated to key topics in patient treatment and led by European experts. These sessions will take place during lunchtime on 16 and 17 April and will not overlap with the main congress programme. Places are limited to encourage greater interaction and discussion among attendees, and registration is available on official website.

The website also provides information on abstract submission, the updated scientific program, and press accreditation procedures.
