Leading German automotive magazine Auto Bild Allrad awarded the Vredestein Wintrac Pro+ third place in its annual group test of high-performance winter tires. The magazine rated the product “exemplary,” praising its excellent wet grip, traction, and overall balance.
The magazine’s reviewers described the Wintrac Pro+ as “a balanced tire that masters all disciplines with confidence,” particularly highlighting its performance in wet tests.
Testers highlighted its ability to maintain consistent grip and steering precision in challenging driving scenarios, confirming its credentials as a tire developed for modern high-performance vehicles.

Auto Bild Allrad evaluated 12 leading winter tires in size 215/55 R 17, a common fitment for compact SUVs such as the Volkswagen T-Roc, used as the primary test vehicle. Each tire was tested at specialized testing centers in Finland and Germany, evaluating its performance and safety in challenging wet, snowy, and icy conditions.
