XPENG, a leading global technology company in intelligent electric mobility, will begin commercialisation of the new XPENG P7+ across 25 European markets from April 2026. The fully electric model arrives at a pivotal moment, as the industry shifts from purely mechanical performance towards intelligence, software and computing power, marking a new milestone in XPENG’s European journey.
Designed as an AI-defined, future-ready fastback, the P7+ combines advanced intelligent architecture, generous space and touring versatility, meeting the expectations of European customers and reflecting XPENG’s long-term commitment to truly human-centric electric mobility.
“The launch of XPENG P7+ reflects our ongoing commitment to making advanced technologies accessible to a broader audience,” said He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG. “From our future-ready Turing chips to a refined and elegant design, we are excited to offer customers a vehicle designed for the era of intelligent mobility.”
Future-Oriented Intelligence, Designed for Today’s Driving
XPENG P7+ is built on the company’s latest intelligent computing platform and proprietary AI Turing chip architecture, delivering computing power of up to 750 TOPS (tera operations per second). This next-generation hardware is designed not only to meet current driving needs but also to support future software evolution.
The platform enables advanced perception capabilities, high-speed data processing and enhanced ADAS systems, capable of operating effectively across a wide range of real-world driving scenarios.
Developed with the support of artificial intelligence, the P7+ handles complex traffic situations and road conditions with ease, offering smooth lane changes, safe driving and intuitive parking manoeuvres. Through over-the-air (OTA) updates, the system continues to evolve over time, introducing new features and optimisations throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle.
The in-car experience is centred around a 15.6-inch central display, complemented by an 8.8-inch instrument cluster and an AI-based interactive system. The W-HUD head-up display projects key information directly into the driver’s field of vision, enhancing both comfort and safety.
Charging performance has been designed with long-term usability in mind. Thanks to ultra-fast 5C charging capability, the XPENG P7+ can recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes using high-power charging stations.
Design Focused on Space and Premium Comfort
Developed with a strong focus on European market needs, the XPENG P7+ offers a new interpretation of the electric fastback. Dynamic lines blend with sedan-like elegance, while the spacious interior and generous load capacity deliver best-in-class versatility, comparable to European station wagons.
This configuration balances performance and driving pleasure, making the model suitable for both daily use and long-distance travel.
Inside, the P7+ delivers exceptional comfort through high-quality materials and refined finishes. A soft-touch microfiber headliner inspired by cashmere is paired with perforated Nappa leather seats designed for breathability and comfort, even on long journeys.
The entire cabin is built using low-impact materials and processes, avoiding traditional methods such as water-based chrome plating and contributing to reduced emissions during production.
To further enhance comfort, the P7+ features an advanced acoustic insulation system, including up to 62 targeted noise-reduction points, 26 cavity insulation materials and 36 sound-absorbing elements, ensuring a quiet and refined driving experience.
Versatility and Safety on the Road
Designed to meet diverse European driving conditions, the XPENG P7+ combines a double wishbone front suspension with a five-link rear suspension, ensuring balanced handling and precision across urban, extra-urban and motorway driving.
Safety is a key pillar. The body structure, made from ultra-high-strength 2,000 MPa steel, is supported by a multi-layer battery protection system and 14 active safety technologies designed to enhance risk detection, prevent collisions and improve driver awareness.
Production and Growth in Europe
Pilot production of the XPENG P7+ has been completed at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria, XPENG’s first local manufacturing partner in Europe. Following the G6 and G9 MY26, the P7+ is the third XPENG model to be produced and assembled in Europe.
Deliveries will begin from April 2026 in 25 European markets, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia. In Italy, sales will begin in June 2026, with a starting on-the-road price of €46,170.
The launch of the P7+ marks a key step in XPENG’s international expansion strategy, with additional models already planned to further strengthen its presence in Europe.
“Europe continues to be a key market for XPENG,” said Sven Virginie R. De Smet, Head of Brand & Marketing, XPENG Europe. “In 2026, we will continue to enhance our technological capabilities and introduce new products, offering European customers an increasingly comprehensive range, with the P7+ as a standout model.”
In Italy, import and distribution are managed by ATFlow, which is developing a nationwide network of sales and service points. In addition to the 23 locations already in operation, further openings are planned, with the goal of reaching 40 sites by 2026.
Supporting this growth, a partnership with Electrip provides 3,020 kWh of charging for every vehicle sold in 2026, along with a 15% discounted tariff for five years, ensuring 95% interoperability with major national charging operators.
At the same time, aftersales services in Europe are being further strengthened through a central spare parts hub and an additional facility in Italy, ensuring parts availability within 24–48 hours nationwide.
In 2025, XPENG delivered more than 429,445 vehicles globally, more than doubling its 2024 performance. Europe accounted for nearly half of international deliveries, with approximately 20,000 vehicles. XPENG is now present in 25 European countries, supported by more than 13 importers and local partners. This presence is further reinforced by the XPENG R&D centre in Germany, operational since 2025.
“We believed in the potential of this brand from the very beginning and in its ability to bring a distinctive, technology-driven offering to the Italian market,” said Mattia Vanini, President of ATFlow. “Early results confirm we are on the right path: we are building solid foundations in terms of both network and positioning, with the aim of establishing a strong and long-term presence.”
Giuseppe Rovito, Managing Director of XPENG Italy, added: “With the P7+, XPENG introduces a model in Europe that redefines the balance between value and content, combining highly competitive positioning with advanced technological and quality features. The car reinterprets the fastback concept with a sleek, elegant design, while offering outstanding interior space and load capacity well above segment standards.”
