In the first four months of 2022, registrations of pure electric commercial vehicles recorded a + 77.1% compared to the same period of 2021 (Unrae data). Recent studies, such as that of Cambridge Econometrics and Politecnico di Milano promoted by the European Climate Foundation, show how the rapid transition to EVs can reduce the CO2 emissions associated with the transport of goods by road in Italy.

Looking ahead, the increase in electric vehicles on the road will lead to a reduction in dependence on fossil fuels, as well as to decongestion and improvement of air quality in our cities, where private vehicles are added to those of local public transport, such as highlighted in a recent report by MOTUS-E, the first association in Italy made up of industrial operators, the automotive supply chain, the academic world and opinion movements, promoters of electric mobility – of which Koelliker has joined. The interior of the Maxus T90 electric pickup is modern. The dashboard and central tunnel are more similar in size to passenger cars. There is also a socket from 12 V.

The Chinese Maxus T90 electric pickup features a 88.55 kWn battery which offers an autonomy of 320 km (WLTP, provisional figure). Charging times are less than 45 minutes, to go from 20 to 80% with direct current (DC) fast charge or less than 14 hours in alternating current.

The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has a power of 130 kW (178 PS) and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. Three driving modes: Eco, Power and Normal. The maximum speed is 105 km / h.

Maxus T90, imported and distributed in Italy by the Koelliker Group, will be available in commercial version (N1) starting next autumn at official dealerships.
