MAWDY, is the assistance company of the MAPFRE Group, the largest Spanish multinational insurance company operating globally. Over the past year, it has undertaken a profound reorganization of its reality and identity with the aim of increasing and consolidating its international recognition through a unique coordinated image in the various channels in which it operates.

In this path, the launch of MAWDY, which took place in January 2023, represented the first step of a broader strategy which, a year later, evolves with the birth of MAWDY Services, the new name and commercial brand of MAPFRE Warranty, service company and leading brand in the B2B and B2B2C automotive sector in Italy.

MAWDY Services, wholly owned by MAWDY, will implement a totally renewed structure and value proposition and will continue the mission of MAPFRE Warranty in the mobility sector by developing innovative services for new and used vehicles, warranty extension programs, flexible management solutions of claims together with products to protect lifestyle and family.

MAWDY is the trade-mark derived from “Mapfre Worldwide Digital Assistance” and, today more than ever, the concept of globality, assistance and digitalisation is tangible. Operating in the Italian market for over 20 years, MAWDY today employs more than 300 employees at the Verrone headquarters, in the province of Biella, in between Turin and Milan, where it has an internal contact centre, with over 150 operators active 24 hours a day, through which, in 2023, has managed more than 210 thousand roadside assistance.

“MAWDY Services is a commercial brand that integrates with the concept of evolution and growth underway in our company,” declared Gian Paolo Aliani Soderi, General Director of MAWDY and MAWDY Services Italia. “A modern brand, with a global scope, capable of expressing an updated value proposition, aimed at innovating the relationship with customers and partners through the use of digital tools. MAWDY Services is newly born, but it has a long history behind.”

The first public release of MAWDY Services was at the MOBILITYhub On Track, the main B2B event on Mobility Transformation aimed at dealers, car retailers, rental operators and all mobility manufacturers which took place in Milan last February 20th.

The MAWDY Services brand was told through a training and motivational speech conducted by Cecilia Tabarelli, Communication and Marketing Director of MAWDY and MAWDY Services Italy, entitled “The fruit of passion: a success story” which, through the metaphor of the fruit lush and healthy born from the right seed, it accompanied the audience through the knowledge of everything that is inside a success story and the long and challenging path to reach the finish line.

The fruits described at MOBILITYhub On Track by MAWDY Services are satisfied customers, cars sold, repairs made, but also the commitment of people, the challenge taken up and faced with responsibility and dedication. As in sport, as in life, as in business.
