XPENG continues to accelerate its expansion in the Italian market with the launch of the P7+, the innovative 100% electric fastback designed with the support of artificial intelligence.
The new model joins the G6 and G9 SUVs, already available through XPENG’s official dealer network, and shares the same industrial footprint. Like the MY26 versions of both SUVs, the P7+ is assembled at Magna Steyr’s manufacturing facility in Graz, Austria, making it the third XPENG vehicle to be produced in Europe.
“The arrival of the P7+ in Italy marks another important milestone in XPENG’s European expansion journey,” commented the management of ATFlow, XPENG’s official importer and distributor in Italy. “Together with our dealer network, we are ready to introduce customers to a vehicle created for the era of smart mobility. The P7+ embodies XPENG’s commitment to human-centric electric mobility, combining a future-oriented high-tech architecture with the space and versatility required for travel, work, and family life.”
Range Structure, Pricing and Warranty Coverage
The new XPENG P7+ is available in Italy in three versions:
- P7+ RWD Standard Range: Equipped with a 61.7 kWh LFP battery and an 800V architecture, it offers up to 455 km of WLTP combined-range driving.
On-the-road price: €46,170. - P7+ RWD Long Range: Featuring a 74.9 kWh LFP battery with 800V architecture, it extends WLTP combined-range driving to up to 530 km.
On-the-road price: €52,170. - P7+ AWD Performance: The all-wheel-drive version features dual front and rear motors delivering a combined output of 370 kW (503 hp), paired with a 74.9 kWh LFP battery offering up to 500 km of WLTP combined-range driving.
On-the-road price: €57,170.
The entire XPENG range, including the P7+, benefits from an extended coverage package consisting of a 5-year/120,000 km vehicle warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance, and an 8-year/160,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery. Customers can also benefit from ATFlow’s partnership with Electrip, which offers 95% interoperability with Italy’s leading charging operators. For all XPENG vehicles registered in 2026, including the P7+, the package includes 3,020 kWh of free charging and a 15% discounted charging rate for five years.
This is complemented by a structured after-sales service network, including a European spare parts hub and a dedicated Italian service centre capable of supplying parts nationwide within 24 to 48 hours.
P7+: Intelligent Architecture and Ultra-Fast Charging
Developed with the support of artificial intelligence, the XPENG P7+ brings next-generation intelligent architecture to the road, powered by the proprietary AI Turing chip capable of delivering up to 750 TOPS (trillion operations per second) of computing power. This high-performance hardware platform supports current driving requirements while providing the foundation for future software developments.
Thanks to over-the-air (OTA) updates, the vehicle’s software continues to evolve throughout its lifecycle, introducing new features and performance enhancements over time.
On the charging side, the P7+ supports ultra-fast 5C charging technology. When connected to high-power charging stations, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes.
Interior Comfort and Versatility
The P7+ interior has been designed with European customer expectations in mind, offering exceptional versatility and long-distance travel comfort.
The luggage compartment provides up to 573 litres of storage capacity in the standard five-seat configuration and expands to 1,931 litres with the rear seats folded.
The cabin experience is enhanced through premium materials and environmentally conscious finishes:
- Upholstery: Seats are trimmed in perforated Nappa leather on Long Range and AWD Performance versions, while the headliner features a cashmere-inspired microfiber finish. The Standard Range version adopts premium eco-leather materials.
- Acoustic Comfort: The sound insulation system incorporates 62 dedicated noise-reduction points, including 26 cavity-filling soundproofing materials and 36 sound-absorbing elements, ensuring a quiet and refined driving experience under all conditions.
User Interface and Chassis Engineering
Interaction with the vehicle is managed through three AI-coordinated displays. The dashboard features a 15.6-inch central touchscreen for primary vehicle functions, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, and an interactive Windshield Head-Up Display (W-HUD).
Driving dynamics and ride comfort across urban, rural, and motorway environments are supported by an advanced chassis configuration featuring a double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link multilink rear suspension.
Safety Standards and XPILOT 2.5 Driver Assistance System
Occupant protection and risk prevention are ensured through a combination of advanced structural engineering and dedicated active and passive safety technologies.
The vehicle comes equipped as standard with the XPILOT 2.5 driver assistance system, based on an advanced perception network that integrates radar sensors and high-precision cameras. The package includes 14 active safety functions designed to identify road hazards at an early stage, enhance driver awareness, support lane-change manoeuvres, and facilitate parking operations. Passive safety is equally comprehensive. The high-voltage battery is protected by a multi-layer safety system designed to prevent damage in the event of a collision. The passenger compartment itself is built around a reinforced body structure using ultra-high-strength 2,000 MPa steel, engineered to deliver maximum structural integrity and occupant protection in the event of an impact.
